What Do You Want From the eBirdseed.com Blog?
Hi,
Before we get started, remember that the "left" coast still could use a hand... Learn more here.
The impetus for this post was a discussion that my boss and I had concerning future services we could offer you the reader. In the past, we discussed features like subscriptions and RSS. (Changing the Way That You Look at the eBirdseed.com Blog!) In fact, the partial screenshot below is a snippet of my home page... Note the RSS feed and the iGoogle subscription. (Those make updated blog entries just a click away.)
But what else do you want? Would you like a more streamlined (or automated) delivery system for the blog itself? Consider...
The bottom line is simple. You're the reader and you call the shots - both in delivery and content. What do you want?

- Newsletter: Did you know that you can subscribe to our newsletter? Simply select any of our seed from the home page, and a sign-up is right there on the right. (For example...)
- Podcasting/MP3: Podcasting has to do with offering an actual audio version of the blog posts, typically in an MP3 file format. We don't offer this service yet.
- Humor?
- Ornithology?
- Tips and hints?
- General backyard birding?
- Projects?
- Photography?
- Completely unrelated (like recipes)?
- Fiction?
- Science?
- Contests?
The bottom line is simple. You're the reader and you call the shots - both in delivery and content. What do you want?

Preferences, based on prior posts: All of the above with the possible exception of projects (don't know what sort.) No MP3 for me and I don't even know what RSS is anyhow! I like what you've been doing - VERY much!
{CCA replies:
* Thanks for the kind words!
* RSS is simply a shortcut mechanism that allows you to access our latest postings with a single mouse click.
* I guess I'll have to keep on keepin' on!
Thanks again...}
