Safflower Seeds
Similar to sunflower seeds, safflower seed attracts many beautiful species of birds to your feeders and is an economical highly nutritious choice. Safflower seeds are also a wonderful choice if you are trying to keep the furry creatures away from your feeders. Squirrels and other mammals do not like the taste of these bitter seeds but you’ll be sure to attract many species of birds with these fresh all around seed. Colorful songbirds such as Chickadees, House and Purple Finches, Nuthatches, Rose-breasted, Evening and other Grosbeaks, Titmice, and especially Northern Cardinals will flock to your safflower feeder.
